Arizona's Tucson Amphitheater High School's 6-foot-4, 185-pound senior guard/forward Tim Derksen announced his college decision to accept a college scholarship from the University of San Francico and Head Coach Rex Walters. According to a local scouting report, Derksen is strong at making plays around the basket area, and also finishes plays while slashing to the basket or in transition. Possesses a good shot with range and is his best when scoring off the dribble. A good defender and shotblocker with very good ball handling skills thus allowing him to play both guard positions on the floor.
