A private non-profit organization dedicated to providing the youth of Nevada with the best basketball experience available in a safe, friendly and educational environment. The organization is run by former University of Nevada assistant coach Jason Glover and features former Wolfpack star and Harlem Globetrotter Eathan O’Bryant. The staff of Nevada Basketball Academy has over 50 years of coaching and playing experience at all levels, including high school, junior college, major university and international as well. They have directed and run camps throughout the United States and in many foreign countries. They pride themselves in the ability to teach both boys and girls the fundamentals of basketball as well as the finer points of the game for those who are more advanced. Integrated into the teaching is an emphasis on character, sportsmanship, discipline and teamwork. They educate young players about what it takes to be successful in basketball and life.

The mission of Tarkanian Basketball Academy is to provide opportunities for youth to develop leadership skills, work ethic, commitment, honesty and integrity through sport. We believe that sport teaches life lessons that can help people of all ages with success on and off the court. Tarkanian Basketball Academy believes in the effectiveness of positive role models, and is active in the fight against drugs and alcohol.
