The Championship Basketball Academy is passionate about teaching the game of basketball in Albuquerque. With over 17 years of successful experience in the NBA, college, and high school basketball, its head coach, Scott Peterson:
- Coached with Greg Popovich, helping lead Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginoboli, David Robinson, and the rest of the San Antonio Spurs when they won the 2003 NBA world Championship.
- Coached with the University of New Mexico Lobos Men's Basketball Team when they won the Mountain West Conference Championship in 2005.
- Coached high school teams to district and state championships.
The Championship Basketball Academy offers a unique approach in teaching the game. Their system focuses on the development of essential skills and drills to challenge athletes of all ages to reach their potential.
