Excel Youth Sports

Excel Youth Sports was founded by Brian O’Neal and Jason Robertson and is a West Valley sports organization that develops athletes by promoting a strong emphasis on character development and inspiring a commitment to sports through discipline and fun. The organization helps young athletes attain their goals by providing a very organized sports league that teaches fundamentals and character development.  The goals of the organization are to have each team with a well trained coach who encourages his or her players and gives every athlete the opportunity to play quality time each game so that the athletes can grow to be more fundamentally sound each season.  A high focus is placed on developing the athletes to be positive role models off the court.  Programs include a Summer basketball camp, a Fall October Slam Bam Basketball Tournament, Extreme Ballers Academies, Flag Football and Soccer.  In the Winter, they offer T-Ball, Baseball and Basketball.  For more information click here.

10th Annual Arizona Preps Fall Basketball Showcase

For the past 10 years, Arizona Preps founder Anthony Ray has hosted the FALL SHOWCASE EVENTS as a forum for the best players to showcase their abilities.  For lesser known participants, it has provided a platform to get on the recruiting map.  All-star showings have often led to stellar high school seasons, and many collegiate careers.

What does this mean for you?  On October 24-26, once again, many of the Top National Basketball Scouts will be there watching, evaluating, and reporting back to the Top Collegiate Programs across the country.  The Arizona Prep Staff will also be updating its extensive recruiting player database as well as publishing its evaluations to the 150+ College programs that receive their Arizona Hoops Scouting Report, before the High School season begins.  Their staff then follows up with coverage of Showcase participants throughout the upcoming High School season.  This exposure is invaluable for recruiting.
