3D Hoops Basketball Institute

The 3D Hoops Institute provides basketball instruction and character education.  They focus on dedication, determination, and disciplined resulting in the 3D’s given to their name, 3D Hoops Institute.

The program consists of skill development and training through basketball camps and clinics, video analysis on shooting form, strength and plyometric training.   They also focus on character education, study skills, college prep, goal setting, team intangibles and tournaments for all age levels.

 

The institute was founded by high school basketball coaches that want to bring character, class, and integrity to the club level at a fraction of the cost. 

All training and instruction is located at what is considered to be one of the best basketball facilities in the State of Arizona, Skyline High School in East Mesa which is conveniently located right of the US 60.

Fueling Kids for Sports

Whether going all out for the soccer team or training for a dance performance, the energy needs of kids and teens are generally greater than adults. After all, they need nutrition for growth as well as sports performance, and that energy largely comes from the foods they consume. 

 

Nutritious snacks that fuel the body for activity go a long way to helping young athletes perform at their best.  Portable snacks before and after exercise to achieve a sustained energy boost give the athlete a natural competitive edge.  

 

For very active sports like football, basketball, hockey and soccer, keeping young athletes fueled before and after practice is essential. That's not always easy when racing to the field after school. The answer comes from creating an on-the-go snack. Protein from  nuts, whole grains and raisins for energy makes an ideal pre- or post-game treat.

 

You can also provide the young athlete fresh fruits such as a banana before, during, and after the game for that much needed energy boost which can make the difference between an average performance or an in-the-zone full of hustle practice or game that everyone wishes for but few have the fuel to achieve.

T-Giving Hoops Classic

The schedule for the Nov. 22-23 T-Giving Hoops Classic,  the inaugural tournament of the 3D Hoops Institute Youth Basketball Series for grades 2-8, held at Skyline Gymnasium Complex in Mesa, Arizona  will be emailed out tomorrow, (Tues.) for all participating teams that have called and emailed to confirm their spots.  We are looking forward to the future of tournament basketball here in Arizona with some exciting future developments with the 3D Hoops Institute Tournament Series.

 

If for some reason, you missed registering your team for the T-Giving Classic, you need to call 480.694.4835 before 8:30 am tomorrow to see if there is still a spot to fill, otherwise, get signed up for the Holiday Hoops Classic scheduled for Dec. 20-22.  Winners of each division qualify for the Tournament of Champions in May.
