Midwest Elite Basketball Camp

On July 17 from 8:30am - 3:30pm, Brad Schmit, founder of Midwest Elite Basketball and coach at Morningside College in Iowa, is bringing Midwest Elite to Arizona's Skyline High school.  Midwest Elite camps are one of the premier individual instruction tools used by some of the top high school coaches in Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and more.

The 1st Annual Arizona Preps Summer Showdown brought to you by First Class Sports & Entertainment will take place July 29-31, 2009 when close to 100 of the best 16U and 17U teams from Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah and New Mexico will face off at Phoenix College and surrounding gymnasiums in an NCAA Certified Event during the LIVE July recruiting period!

DATES: July 29 - 31, 2009

LOCATION: Phoenix College

FORMAT: Pool Play. 3 games guaranteed. Championship Play. (Top 2 Teams from each Pool advance to Championship Play.)

DIVISIONS/AGES: Boys High School - 17U, 16U

ENTRY FEE: $500 Team Fee.

ROSTERS: Up to 12 players.

RULES: High School with some modifications.

ENTRY DEADLINE: July 4, 2009

UNIFORMS: Teams must have light & dark jerseys.

 TOURNAMENT FEATURES:

* COMPETE AGAINST TOP PLAYERS IN THE STATE & ON THE WEST COAST
* EACH TEAM GUARANTEED TO PLAY IN 3 GAMES

i9 Sports Girls-only Basketball League

i9 Sports is currently set to offer a girls-only basketball league at the Mountainside Fitness Centers in Chandler/Gilbert.  In an effort to become one of the few youth basketball leagues to offer girls-only basketball leagues, we are asking for your support. 

We have in place a great basketball league set for this summer during the months of June and July.  All practices and games will be indoors.  We are in need of a few more girls to make this successful and give these girls currently enrolled a great season.  We would like to ask that you talk to your daughters about considering playing basketball with us this summer.  The season will be dedicated to having fun and learning the fundamentals of basketball. 

If you would like to register, please visit www.i9sports.com and click on "basketball", then "register for a program".   We will be waiving the late fee for any girls basketball participants that enroll.  Also, if you have friends, make sure to get them involved.  Friends can play on the same team.
