APBA helps Arizona's aspiring boys and girls with their overall basketball abilities, approach to the game and understanding of the college recruiting process.
Sessions take place at the campus of Arizona State University in the ASU Rec Center and continue once a month annually on Saturdays for 3 hour sessions.
Arizona Preps uses the academy to: (1) update its extensive current database of players for its national scouting service reports, and (2) publish the results in their Arizona Hoop Review Scouting Report, which goes out directly to more than 150 college coaches across the country for boys and girls.
As the player develops at the Arizona Preps Basketball Academy, college coaches and scouting services will know about it thus creating more opportunities in the recruiting process for those players who want to continue playing after high school.
The camp cost is $50 per session geared towards 13 - 18 year olds and limited to 100 campers. For more information contact Jacquelyn Granger (602) 942-2225 or (310) 741-7948.
