Jump Athletic has merged Club Team talents with Team Metro to form a powerful force in the AAU youth basketball scene around the Metro Phoenix Area.
This past basketball season, players from both programs played together for the first time and the 17 U elite travel team made some major noise in the club basketball scene.
Erik Gray founder of Team Metro coached the team along with Dwayne Johnson as the team placed very well in all tournaments inside and out side the state.
Coach Gray along with founder of Jump Athletic, Brian Sacks, will be scouting high school players through out the upcoming season as they prepare for next club season which will begin in April of 2010. The goal of this merger is to form the most successful club teams not only in Arizona but on the West Coast. The duo of Gray and Sacks plan on having three elite teams, 15U, 16U and 17U in the 2010 club season.
