Phoenix, AZ (Phoenix College) - The 5th Annual Phoenix Fall Showcase finished off with thirty two more games following day 1 as Saturday and Sunday’s match-ups at Phoenix College were very competitive and for certain a few names will hit the radar shortly.

Below you will see the eye-catchers and high school teams that showed well on Day 2 and 3. This event showcased over 500 players during the three day event.

Top 5 Prospects Notes:
Kenny Martin, 6’10 Kellis 2012 – Shared CO-MVP with Hopkins. Martin has a great offensive game and can defend in the post mostly by attempting to block every shot. He has good handles for his size, non -stop motor and works hard to get to the basket and finish with a dunk or score. Martin gave a verbal in July to Arizona State University and coach Herb Sendek.

William Marshall, 6’9 Estrella 2012- Marshall is a high major prospect that can finish around the basket and is long with good size. Runs the floor well for his size and defends hard in the post. As of recent Marshall has heard from San Francisco and Oregon State.

Drew Bender, 6’5 Pinnacle 2013- Bender is exciting to watch as he can hit the open jumper or take his man off the dribble to the basket. Bender plays both guard positions and is one to watch in 2013 and hearing from Pepperdine, Harvard, Yale, UTEP, Colorado, St. Mary’s, Oregon State and UC Irvine.

Kodi Justice, 6’4 Dobson 2014- The Arizona State commit was one to watch in both games he played in this weekend. Justice does everything well as he defends, can slash, can move well without the ball, knows how to get open and has a basketball IQ.

Sam Bzai, 6’3 Mesquite 2012- Bzai is a strong shooting guard that can score quickly. Nice stroke from outside and likes to drive to the basket, decent handle and plays hard. He is under the radar at this time but as of recent gained interest from Wyoming.

Michael Carter Jr., 6’0 Parker 2013 – Has a great first step and can score at the rim. Carter is a sleeper in Arizona and one to watch.

Christian Thompson, 6’7 Arcadia 2012 – A high level athlete when he wants to be. Showed a versatile game and uses his length well and has upside.

Johnnie Panfil, 6’0 Boulder Creek 2013, He sees the floor well and has a good frame, knows how to play and can hit the open jumper.

Elijah Winston, 6’2 Gilbert Classical Academy 2013- Plays with energy and is strong in getting to the basket.

Daniel Lopez, 6’1 Paradise Valley 2012- Solid floor general that passes well and has a good feel for the game, knows how to make plays.

Brandon Kimber, 5’7 Valley Vista 2013- Crafty point guard that gets to the basket.

Quinton Learn, 6’0 Liberty 2014 – Has good size and runs the floor well, knows how to rebound on defense.

TK Edogi, 6’7 Valley Vista 2012 – High level athlete that has bounce and can finish.

Jared Neaville, 6’6 Deer Valley 2014 – showed good hands and rebounded well.

Demetris Balark, 6’1 Kellis 2012 – fine ball handling skills and scores in a hurry.

Marquice Jackson, 6’6 Fairfax 2012 – one that works hard for rebounds and runs the floor.

Marco Morales, 5’10 Chandler 2014 – knocked down the three point shot and is thin but quick.

Timothy Johnson, 6’2 San Carlos 2013- has decent ball handling skills and slashes.

Cody March, 6’4 Sandra Day 2013- can slash and play outside with good fundamentals.

BJ Cuevas, 5’11 McClintock 2013 – will knock down the mid- range jumper.

Trey Ingram, 5’9 Pinnacle 2014- smooth ball handler that can defend.

Trey Hoebee, 5’9 Sunrise Mountain 2015 – Displayed a nice jump shot and can score in transition. Likes to pull-up off ball screens and defends well on the ball.

Christian Harris, 6’0 Mesa 2014- Impressive athlete that is a hard- nosed player.

Parker Dipple, 6’0 Desert Mountain 2015 – established himself as a hard worker and sees the floor, also defends man to man.

Rolando Rhymes, 5’10 St. Mary’s 2014 – True point guard that can run the offense.

Devin Nelson, 6’3 Pinnacle 2012- Floor leader that gets involved on the offensive end.

Kaleb Simmons, 5’10 Middle School, 2017- The only 7th grader to play in the showcase. Simmons has good size for a guard and held his own on the floor.

Brandon Williams, 5’10 Paradise Valley 2014 – another solid point guard that excels in transition.

Michael Olexa, 6’0 Millennium 2014 – can be a playmaker and carries a 4.5 grade point average.

Jordan Lossman, 6’5 Desert Mountain 2014 – Good size and skills for a forward.

Alex Tarkanian, 5’7 Bonanza (Las Vegas, NV) – Made few mistakes on the floor and is tough on defense. Gets others involved and can knock down the open jumper.

Austin Nehls, 6’2 Catalina Foothills 2014- One smart playmaker on the floor that can slash, defend and also showed deep shooting range, one to watch in Tucson.

Keaton Ranger, 6’1 Chandler 2014 – shot the ball well in the game I watched.

Jordan Hawkins, 5’10 Basha 2014 – Good size strong combo guard that is one to watch.

Carter Wilson, 5’11 Queen Creek 2014 – has a nice shooting touch and made some shots.

Brian Nichols, 6’9 Dobson 2013- tall and thin with fair basketball instincts and runs the floor well for a post.

Dan Richards, 6’3 Mesa 2013- bouncy guard that does everything right, has a basketball IQ and one to watch.

Michael Clark, 5’11 Perry 2013 – Displayed a few skills and has a chance.

Billy Rowan, 6’3 Valley Vista 2014 – Rowan displayed hard work on the glass.

De Andre Myles, 6’1 Gilbert 2013- a swift guard that has ability to attack the basket.

David Miller, 5’9 Parker 2012 – Guard that finishes plays and runs well on offense.

Hawk Beyale, 6’1 Desert Edge 2013- point guard with good ball handling skills and leadership.

Alec Casteneda, 6’0 Salpointe 2012- Hard- nosed defender that likes contact and gets to the rim.

Danny Cox, 6’2 Boulder Creek 2012 – Showed everything well on offense this weekend, shooting lights out and has a feel for the game.

Ashton Howard, 6’6 Bonanza (Las Vegas, NV) – skilled shooter with good decisions on the floor.

Connor Kuchar, 6’9 Boulder Creek 2012- Has good size and decent hands, runs the floor well and played hard on the boards.

Tyler Conger, 6’4 Desert Mountain 2012- Passed the ball well for his size and has good court vision.

Kyle Rowles, 6’7 Deer Valley 2012 – Likes to play in the post, physical player that is still raw with upside, caught the eye of a few junior college coaches this weekend.

Cesar Solis, 6’2 Nogales 2012- Can really score on the break.
