Marco Morales, Devon Lundy & Myles Thompson Recognized at the 1st Annual Phoenix College Invitational
The Arizona All-Stars varsity club team attended the 1st Annual Phoenix College Invitational which was held Sunday October 6 at Phoenix College where approximately 200 players from the state of Arizona participated. Although each All-Stars player did well, the below players received mentioned on ArizonaVarsity.com by basketball analyst Gerry Freitas who runs one of the top basketball scouting services in the west coast.
Under the "TOP PROSPECTS" list was Marco Morales.
6'1" PG Marco Morales of Chandler HS 2014 (Arizona All Stars)
Morales is an athletic point guard with nice all-around skills. He handles the ball well and is a real good passer who is a solid decision-maker in transition. He can pull up in the half court, is a capable driver with an ok first step, has a nice hesitation move and is an effective penetrator. Importantly, he knows how to run a team. He's a little thin and does need some bulk/strength. Morales is worth low major consideration.
Under the "Names to Note", Devon Lundy and Myles Thompson made the list.
5'9" PG Devon Lundy of Chandler HS 2014 - strong and athletic, good driver.
*5'10" PG Myles Thompson of American Leadership Academy 2016- athletic, nice first step.
