Arizona Youth Basketball Community Monthly Networking Mixer is Scheduled for TONIGHT, March 2

The Arizona Youth Basketball Community Monthly Networking Mixer is scheduled for TONIGHT, March 2 at the U.S. Airways Center main conference room.

The event wil begin at 7pm. Free parking will be available.  Click here for location and directions.

The networking event unifies the local commuity by creating a monthly gathering place where the exchange of information and the development and growth of relationships takes place in order to strengthened the local youth basketball community through education and awereness.

At the mixer, the Phoenix Suns and Junior Hoops will be introducting the 1st Annual Arizona Youth Basketball Community Awards & Dinner Ceremony.

Southwest Showcase Spring Tucson Exposure Event

On Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Immaculate Heart in Tucson, Arizona (map), Southwest Showcase will be conducting an exposure event for boy's basketball players from 7th Grade to High School Seniors.   The cost of the event is $65.00 per player with each player participating in 2 games.

Each Player will receive a game shirt. All games will be covered by ArizonaVarsity.com, Areacodesbasketball.com and Southwest Showcase staff. Showcase write-ups will be hosted on all 3 websites. Players will be evaluated for upcoming Arizona Player rankings.

Top players will receive free entry into upcoming exposure events in Phoenix. All High School players will be entered into the Southwest Showcase database which is made available to college coaches. 

1st Annual Arizona Youth Basketball Community Awards & Dinner Celebration

The 1st Annual Arizona Youth Basketball Community Awards & Dinner Ceremony is in the planning stages for April 12, 2010.  The event is in alliance with the Phoenix Suns and is geared towards recognizing the top youth basketball organizations to include club teams, tournament operators, academies, etc., in the state of Arizona.

The event will also serve as an opportunity to inspire student-athletes to embrace a drug-free lifestyle by continuing to say YES to SPORTS and NO to DRUGS. Junior Hoops of America is looking for community friendly organizations to sponsor tables for kids to be able to attend this values driven ceremony.  

Marketing and Community Development sponsorships are sought for this outreach gala. Product and service display tables will be made available for sponsors and vendors and youth basketball organizations are welcome to request table space for the promotion of their initiatives.

Advantage Basketball Camps Presents Harlem Globe Trotter Curly "Boo" Johnson

Once in a lifetime opportunity will take place at Arizona State University with the special appearance of Harlem Globe Trotter and Basketball Hall of Fame legend, Curly "Boo" Johnson.

Considered to be the World's Greatest Dribbler, Curly "Boo" Johnson will be at the world famous Advantage Basketball Camps this spring.

The Advantage Basketball Spring Break Basketball Camp will take place March 15 -17 for the ball handling and shooting skills training.  The camp will run each day from 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Arizona Youth Basketball Community February Networking Mixer

High School coaches mingling with club team coaches.  Tournament operators working with each other to avoid overlapping of tournaments, clinics and camp directors positioning their training events directly with parents.  Product and service providers displaying their youth basketball gear and giving away samples.  Guest speakers motivating the community to grow the youth basketball community and inspiring student-atheletes to commit to basketball while discouraging drug use.

Introduced in the month of January by Junior Hoops of America, the networking event continuesin February with its mission to unifty the local commuity by creating a monthly gathering place where the exchange of information and the development and growth of relationships takes place in order to strengthened the local youth basketball community through education and awereness.

The next monthly netwoking mixer for the Greater Phoenix metro area youth basketball community is scheduled for February 28th at 6pm.  The location will be secured by next week and communicated to all through the Junior Hoops Report and www.JuniorHoops.com.

The 2010 Arizona State Youth Basketball Club Championships

Who is truly the #1 club team in Arizona?  Here is your chance to prove it!  On March 20th & 21st Boys and Girls teams will be lining up to play against each other for the 1st Annual 2010 Arizona State Youth Basketball Club Championships.

The event will consist of a series of qualifier tournaments leading up to the final 2010 state championship.  Tournaments will be held in Northern Arizona, Central Arizona, and Southern Arizona.  The first Boys and Girls Central Arizona tournament is scheduled in Phoenix for March 20th and 21st for the 9U through 14U divisions.  On March 27th & 28th, the Central Arizona 15U through 17U tournamnent will also take place in Phoenix, Arizona.
