Looking for Investors for the Eastside Sports Arena Project

J. Mark Carpenter, Chairman of the Eastside Sports Arena Project, along with the City of Mesa, is proposing the renovation of the old Costco building on Power Road be converted to an indoor Sports Arena.  The 139,000 facility will feature 10 indoor basketball courts and 4 indoor soccer fields along with a fitness center, sports lobby, and other amenities provided for league and tournament operations.  The facility would be the largest basketball venue in the Western United States.  The Eastside Sports Arena project is projected to cost $11 million and to profit $1.5 million annually.  The group is seeking development funding to launch the project.  Investors are welcome to contact Carpenter at 602-518-5553 or email your inquiry to JuniorHoops@gmail.com.

The Southern Arizona Indoor Sports Center: Dedicated To Tucson's Youth

The Southern Arizona Indoor Sports Center is a new, centrally located, multi-court indoor facility that will be dedicated to youth sports, giving Tucson area youngsters a chance to learn, play and compete in quality sports programs, primarily basketball and volleyball.

The facility will be a model public-private partnership with Pima County.  Southern Arizona Community Sports Inc., a Tucson-based non-profit organization, will raise up to $1 million from the private sector to supplement the balance of construction funds to be provided by the County.

The project is attracting support from educators, youth agencies, sports groups and business leaders, all of whom recognize its value and benefits.  When completed, the Southern Arizona Indoor Sports Center will have a profound, positive effect on the youth sports landscape in Pima County.
