All-Stars Basketball Academy
Year-round successful training program for individual players and club programs
Why did you name your academy the "All-Stars"?
Our aim was to implement a basketball player development system designed to create players whose skills set, game IQ and court performance became so impressive that selection to the state All-Star team would be the result.
Did the system work?
In 2005, we deployed our system with Marco Morales who was 9 years old at the time. In 2014, in his Senior year, the Arizona High School Coaches Association selected Marco to the State of Arizona high school basketball All-Star team.
What were the achieved results?
By the time Marco was an 8th grader, he had proven himself to be one of the top club basketball players in Arizona. At Chandler high school, Marco was selected as the Freshmen team MVP. After a stellar Freshman year, he made the high school Varsity team as a Sophomore where he had a major impact as the 6th man.
In his Junior year, Marco was the most prolific 3-point shooter in Arizona's highly competitive Division 1 with 97 3-pointers made while shooting them at a 39% efficiency. In his Senior year he followed up with another 97 3-pointers with a 43% 3-point shooting efficiency. He was also ranked #30 best 3-point shooter in the nation as posted on MaxPreps.com. He also made the "All-Tournament" team selection multiple times, achieved many 20+ point games with 4 to 7 3-pointers in any given game, scored 10 3-pointers in one game, ran the Pro-Agility 20 in 3.9 seconds and eventually received a full-ride college basketball scholarship.
What is next?
We now offer our training services to both our students and other club programs. We want to offer everyone a player development system that is well thought out and offers more weekly training hours than any other program in the state. We want everyone associated with our training to be known as the best trained basketball players. We want them to have the option to further extend their basketball careers at the collegiate level of play. To do so, we want them to immerse themselves in a system that has proven to be an extra-ordinary player development success.
How we do it?
It takes hard, smart and incessant training. Its about having the burning passion to go from good to great and this transition is our specialty. We are all about skills and basketball IQ development and we promote sacrificing everything but academics in the name of the game in order to cultivate the muscle memory and instincts of an All-Star.
We seek students and other club programs who have an obsessive desire to become All-Star caliber players on the court regardless of their current level of play. All the students need to do is align the effort with the dream and our trainers will teach a player development system that is not experimenting a theory, but engaged in the application of a proven track record.
Are we the basketball academy for you?
If you want to make lay ups, in traffic, with either hand, we are for you. If you want to make those lay-ups with reverses using either hand while elevating from either foot, we are for you. If you want to consistently make 3-pointers, become a 90% or higher free-throw specialist, master the floater, develop elite ball-handling skills, deploy or break every defensive scheme, learn how to attack the paint with no fear and in control, box out and rebound as if your life depended on it, increase your ability to pass with extreme court vision and become notorious for having high basketball IQ, we are for you.
Ask yourself this question. If your answer is YES, call us.
Do you want to master the art of basketball in order to be known as a true All-Star?
“Our basketball development vision is a journey that must be taken one step at a time. It is long and arduous with peaks and valleys along the way. Being human, the emotions will alternate from euphoria to frustration along the way. But final victory is usually with he who completes the journey with patience all the while aware that the goal is to become more than a role player on a team, but instead, to become the franchise player who dominates the hardwood with both skill and will…this is a great player and this is what we seek to accomplish with those who have the burning desire to master this great sport. We don’t have a magic wand to development. What we do have is the fundamentals taught right and repeated hundreds of thousands of times over the course of years. You simply have to want it both as parents and players and invest the time and expense it takes. One must keep at it with true grit….it is a fun grind….we know no other way.” Coach Morales
