American Youth Basketball League| NO SUNDAY PLAY

THE LEAGUE

The American Youth Basketball League (AYBL) offers the opportunity to play multiple club basketball games on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays without the commitment to play on Sundays.

NO SUNDAY GAMES

The AYBL understands and respects that many competitive basketball players do not play on Sundays.   The AYBL has been created to serve this underserved large segment of our playing community.  

MULTIPLE DIVISIONS & GRADE FLEXIBILITY

We offer divisions for all ages ranging from 9U - 17U, however, we allow you to mix your age groups by one grade to ensure that you have the flexibility to play players up or down based on their skill level not just their grade.  

We offer this option because at the AYBL, we understand that there are players whose readiness level is just not at par with their existing grade.    These players need the opportunity to play at their present skill level not necessarily their age level. 

MULITPLE DAYS & GAMES

The AYBL offers multiple days to ensure that our registered teams also acquire multiple games in order to accelerate development through competition.  Playing one game a week in our opinion is not enough experience for a team or player to transition from good to great.

YEAR-ROUND PLAY

The league runs year-round for 8th grade and below teams.    For the high school age group, the league operates from March through October.   The playing period will run in  30 - 45 day cycles to include a playoff bracket.  

LOCATION

The AYBL is open to teams from all over the metro city areas where it exists but our debut league games will take place in the East Valley of the Phoenix metropolitan area.
