The Arizona Youth Basketball Community Awards brought to you by Junior Hoops of America and it's sponsorship partners is Arizona's premier ceremony presenting the "Academy Award"style trophy to deserving local youth basketball players, coaches and honoring one basketball community leader with a "life-time achievement award.

The annual fundraiser event affords cross-program sponsorships for talented athletes with the opportunity to play club basketball at a higher level, or even afford travel ball. That means that basketball organizations in the Arizona community will benefit equally, whether from the YMCA or Elite Programs across the valley.

Players who apply for sponsorship are nominated into the program by coaches, teachers or program directors and can compete for a position on their dream-team at no cost to the athlete or their family. The application process is private.

In addition to recognizing the local area's top youth basketball initiatives, the event also serves as the venue where student-athletes can reaffirm their dedication to the great sport of basketball and to a drug free lifestyle.

Junior Hoops of America features keynote speakers and an overall program that celebrates community unity at its best.  In addition, a video produced by Natural High will be shown at the event in order to emphasize the importance of following one's athletic passion and drug free commitment.
