Why a focus on athletic testing?
How do you measure up? Do you even know your athletic baseline? The All-Stars Basketball Academy (ABA) is committed to establishing an athletic baseline.
If you can't measure it you can't manage it!
Because our basketball training & development culture is about results and if one does not measure performance then one does not manage it. Our standard of excellence is non-negotiable and we strive to deliver more than expected. It is just who we are as basketball industry professionals.
What is ASADT?
ADT (Athlete Development Testing) is a measurement system that evaluates the athletes’ ability to perform on the court at their highest level. The testing procedures measures several area of the athletes performance based on certain functional movements and basketball drills. By providing these tests all parties involved will benefit; from the athlete, coaches, trainers, and teams.
ADT and the All-Stars Basketball Academy will provide all the information needed to get all the base line numbers of the athlete. With this information the athlete will be able to improve and meet their individual goals through athletic testing. The test results will help each individual to identify all athletic markers. All testing protocols are fair, reliable, and unbiased. The testing will focus on strength, speed, power, agility and skills.
The testing will compliment the All-Stars basketball experience. The testing will be standard and basketball sport specific. After the athlete finishes the testing we compile the data and give each athlete a test score. With the score each athlete will be able to compare themselves with their peers. Athletes should know where they measure up and we as professional trainers and developers must be in the know to affect positive change that delivers results.
