• DON'T care what club team the player played on in 7th and 8th grade
• DON'T care how many club games the player won in 7th and 8th grade
• DON’T care who was the volunteer club coach of the player in 7th and 8th grade

• DO care if the player plays hard and is aggressive on defense
• DO care if the player has a strong practice/work-ethic
• DO care if the player has polished FUNDAMENTAL SKILLS
• DO care if the player can SHOOT the Basketball
